An attempt to recall Sabine Parish, Louisiana Police Jury District 5 juror Jeffrey Kent Davidson was initiated in 2022. The recall petition was received by the Louisiana Secretary of State on October 5, 2022, and was approved by the Sabine Parish registrar of voters on December 28, 2022. A recall election was scheduled for April 29, 2023, by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards.[1][2] Davidson was recalled in the April 29 election.

Recall supporters had to collect a number of valid signatures from voters in the Sabine Parish Police Jury District 5 equal to thirty-three and one-third percent of total voters in the district, or 544 signatures, to get the recall on the ballot.[1]
