|My involvement with local politics started when I volunteered to be on the town Energy Commission and eventually became the chair. I saw that there was a lot more that could be done with effective state laws, but there was too much resistance to good policy at the state capitol.
- Reproductive rights should be restored and codified to keep government out of these deeply personal decisions.
- America's epidemic of gun violence needs to be addressed with common sense gun safety legislation.
- The LGBTQ+ community is being used as a culture war pawn. This community deserves respect and must keep the rights they have earned.
