Jeffrey L. Harris

Jeffrey L. Harris is an associate district judge of District 1B of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1997, with his current term expiring in 2018.[1]
Education
Harris received his undergraduate degree in 1974 from the University of Minnesota and his law degree in 1977 from the University of Iowa.[1]
Career
Harris served in the U.S. Army as a Judge Advocate until 1989. He also worked for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, the Legal Corporation of Iowa and the Black Hawk County attorney's office before his judicial appointment in 1997.[1]
2012 election
Harris was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 78.6% of the vote.[2][3]
