Jeffrey Mahl

Jeffrey Mahl was a Brevard County judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Charlie Crist on December 7, 2009 to replace Judge Bruce Jacobus. He was elected in 2012 and he retired from the court on October 29, 2021.[1][2][3]
Education
Mahl received his bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College and his J.D. degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law.[1]
Career
Mahl began his career in 1984 as a sole practitioner. He then practiced with the law firms of Rowlee and Mahl (1987-88); Reinman, Harrell, Silberhorn and Graham P.A. (1988-95); and Graham, Moletteire, Mahl and Tuttle P.A. (1995-96). He then served as a senior assistant attorney for the Office of the Attorney General from 1996 until he was appointed to the circuit court in 2009.[1]
2012 election
Mahl was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4]
