Jeffrey Mailman
Jeffrey "Jeff" Mailman was a Democratic candidate for District 4 representative on the New York City Council in New York. He was defeated in the primary election on September 12, 2017.
Biography
Mailman earned a B.A. in economics from Binghamton University and a J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law.[1]
At the time of his 2017 run for city council, Mailman was the legislative director for District 30 Councilwoman Elizabeth Crowley. His experience also includes service as a member of the boards of the Turtle Bay Association and Manhattan Community Board Six and work as a dean's fellow and adjunct assistant professor at the Cardozo School of Law and a public service fellow at the Bureau of Consumer Fraud and Protection in the New York State Attorney General's Office.[1][2]
