I currently work as a Chief of Staff at Egon Zehnder International, one of the largest global recruitment firms. I have over 20 years of experience as a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) leader, Chief of Staff, Project Manager, and People Operations Director. My responsibilities include staff management, event planning, strategic development, investor and board relations, human resources, legal, and much more — and I've dedicated my career to putting people first. I believe that this race is NOT about me, and it NEVER will be. It's about creating a space for the silenced to finally have a platform to be heard. I have the experience and fight to be able to do just that. As an activist, I will not just pick and choose which issues in our community should get more special attention than the others. Our community is in need, and I will not just be a figurehead like the current City Council members. I will take the time to dig deep into ALL the issues. Our community has voiced concerns for all of these issues, and I plan to make sure everyone is heard, and that there is action: *affordable housing, *homelessness, *public safety, *drug abuse, *protection/maintenance for our local parks/environment, *benefits for small businesses, *youth/school development, *improve healthcare (especially for mental health), *water shortages, *senior services, *veterans' services, *creating jobs/better wages, *LGBTQIA+ rights, *womens' rights, and *the fight against white supremacy.
  • If you are listening to someone, but always thinking of the next thing to say, then you are not actually listening.
  • Actions speak louder than words.
  • It's time for politicians to stop with the self interests and put the community first.
