1. Strengthen Founder's view of Liberty 2. Business Growth in District 3. Fiscal Responsibility

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

1. Personal Liberty - Liberty is the foundation of the country, it is responsibility of citizens to make decisions for theirselves and their children. 2. Pro-Life - I believe that life begins at conception 3. 2nd Amendment- The founders wrote the second amendment to protect future generations from having to live in fear of their own government. Under the Constitution, it is the 2nd Amendment that protects, and guarantees, citizens their other rights.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I am first and foremost a Christian. Though, as a depraved man, I consistently fail, very day I seek to do good and follow what the Lord would have me to do in my life.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Honesty Vision Passion

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

1. Integrity 2. Honesty 3. Passion 4. Accessibility

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

To represent the people of the district, be their voice and fight for their interests in Jackson.

What legacy would you like to leave?

Strengthen the freedoms our forefathers set forth by way of the Constitution for every citizen (man, woman, and child) in this state and country.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

Explosion of the Challenger space shuttle. I was in the 4th or 5th grade and still remember sitting around the TV during class and seeing the unexpected.

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

The Lily of the Valley. (We were singing it this morning in our family Bible study)

Do you believe that it’s beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics?

No. A desire to serve is all that is required.

What do you perceive to be your state’s greatest challenges over the next decade?

1. Failing Infrastructure 2. Balanced Budget 3. Jobs

What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and the state legislature?

A relationship based on mutual respect and cooperation so that government can be ran "for the people".

Do you believe it’s beneficial to build relationships with other legislators? Please explain your answer.

It is absolutely critical for legislators to have a working relationship in order to represent the people to the best of their abilities.
