Heffelfinger received a B.A. in English from Huntington College and a J.D. from Indiana University.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Heffelfinger was an attorney in private practice. As a judge, he has been involved in the creation of the county's Local Drug Free Coordinating Council (LACE) and Community Correction program.[3]
