Jeffrey S. MacKay is a judge of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court in November 2017, effective December 1, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Kathryn E. Creswell.[1]

At the time of his appointment as a circuit judge in 2017, MacKay was an associate judge of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court. He was appointed to that position by the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit in April 2013 to fill the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Robert G. Kleeman to circuit judge.[2][3] He was reappointed in June 2015 to a term that would have expired on June 30, 2019.[4]

MacKay earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a J.D. from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law. His professional experience includes work as an assistant state's attorney for DuPage County and an attorney in private practice with the firm Ekl, Williams & Provenzale, LLC.[5]
