Jeffrey Smith is a judge for Judge Position 2 of the Spokane County District Court in Washington. He assumed office in 2016. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Smith ran for re-election for the Judge Position 2 judge of the Spokane County District Court in Washington. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Prior to his successful application for the bench in 2016, Smith had applied for the vacancies created by the retirements of Judge Kathleen O'Connor in 2015 and Judge Teri Eitzen in 2014.[1]
Biography
Smith attended Spokane Community College, Whitworth University, and the Yale University School of Medicine. He holds a J.D. from Gonzaga University.[1]
As of his appointment to the bench, Smith worked for the law firm Lee and Hayes. His professional experience also includes three years of work for his own law firm, specializing in medical negligence, wrongful death, and personal injury cases.[1]
