Jeffrey T. Burdette was the chief regional circuit judge for the 28th Judicial Circuit, which presides over Rockcastle, Pulaski, and Lincoln counties of Kentucky.[1] He has served on the court since 2003 and was appointed chief regional circuit judge in July 2011, replacing the late Judge Paul E. Braden.[2][3]

Burdette was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning an eight-year term that expires on January 1, 2023.[4][5]

Burdette retired on March 16, 2021.[6]

Education

Burdette received his undergraduate degree in history and political science from Cumberland College in 1986 and his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1989.[2][7]
