Watson ran for re-election to the Miami Board of Commissioners to represent District 5 in Florida. He lost in the general election on November 2, 2021.
Watson was appointed to the position on November 18, 2020, to serve the remainder of Keon Hardemon's term.[1]
Biography
Prior to his appointment, Watson served as a Miami City Hall staffer, member of President Bill Clinton's administration, finance administrator for the Miami Department of Housing and Development, lobbyist in Washington, D.C., CEO of Solairgen Energy Corporation, and tax accountant at Arthur Anderson and Company.[1]
