|I was compelled to go to law school to gain skills and knowledge to advocate for people. I worked as a lawyer for Legal Aid and advised the Hualapai Nation in drafting domestic violence legislation. I served as a public defender, and I provide pro bono work as a criminal defender. I also volunteered with Duluth's Homeless Bill of Rights.
I live in the house that my great-grandparents built in the Morley Heights neighborhood along with my husband and two children, who are students in Duluth Public Schools.- We need leaders who will fight for our community, and I will always put Duluth first.
- Right now we face crises, including health care and housing. I will fight for these with passion and conviction.
- The time for games is over. Duluth deserves a state senator with the courage and integrity to do what must be done.
Secure Housing: In Duluth on any given night, advocates estimate that over 200 of our neighbors are sleeping outside. Many others in our community are couch-surfing, sleeping in cars, or are otherwise housing-insecure. We must address this emergency together and do what it takes to make sure all Duluthians have safe, secure housing.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
