Jenai learned at an early age it would take hard work, a fighting spirit, and a strong sense of faith to build a better future for her family. These values were instilled in Jenai by her immigrant parents who sacrificed and fought tirelessly to capture the American dream by becoming small business owners. Jenai carried that same entrepreneurship spirit and worked hard to create her own opportunities - she studied at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry, has been a small business owner for 20+ years, and continues to build her knowledge in real estate investment.

Jenai's experiences have fueled her fighting spirit and she has channeled these moments to drive her advocacy on issues that are close to her. Having been a victim of sexual assault, she learned the value and meaning of the 2nd Amendment. As a cancer survivor, she experienced the faults within our health-care system and has vowed to fight for women's health-care to ensure better access to information and quality care. As a small business owner, Jenai understands how important it is for legislatures to promote pro-growth policies, push for property tax relief, and oppose burdensome regulations against businesses.
  • Long-term solutions for our homeless population
  • Advocate for better women's healthcare - increased coverage on women's wellness exams
  • Proponent of 2nd Amendment rights
These are the key issues that are the driving forces for my passion in this race: effectively addressing Austin homelessness, preservation of citizens' right to personal protection afforded under the Second Amendment, and womens' reproductive health and education.
