Jenkins appointed to Orleans Parish District Court

New Orleans, Louisiana: The Louisiana Supreme Court appointed Chauntis T. Jenkins to the Orleans Parish Civil District Court (41st Judicial District) on December 13, 2011. She will replace Judge Herbert A. Cade, who was elected to the Orleans Parish Traffic Court in October. Jenkins will serve only temporarily, from January 1 to May 1, 2012. Currently, she works as a partner at the law firm of Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson in New Orleans.[1]
