Jenna Earley is currently the First Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Prosecutorial District (Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties), where she maintains a full caseload while helping lead the team of dedicated individuals who make up that office. Prior to her tenure in the 15th Prosecutorial District, Jenna was a prosecutor in Alamance County, serving in leadership roles in that office as well. She has been member of the board of directors for Hope Harbor Home, Inc. since 2021 and is a staunch supporter of the victim/survivor advocacy agencies throughout Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties. She lives in Leland (Brunswick County) with her husband and their son.
  • The role of District Attorney requires day one readiness. As a career prosecutor, Jenna's experience in the courtroom and leadership in the criminal justice system have prepared her to step into the role of District Attorney on day one – not to learn the job, but to continue doing it.
  • At the end of the day, the best predictor of future success is past performance. Jenna has spent her career standing up for victims of crime. She believes in giving victims a voice in the process and is committed to advocating for them in a courtroom. Also, Jenna believes in a police-prosecutor team model. The best way to get from probable cause to beyond a reasonable doubt is by working with law enforcement to develop investigations. From crimes scene to closing argument, Jenna works with law enforcement to ensure that justice is done.
  • A leader needs to lead from the front. Being in the trenches with law enforcement and with the team members in the DA's Office leads to stronger results in the courtroom.
Jenna is personally passionate about advocating for victims, continuing strong relationships with law enforcement, and holding violent offenders, sexual predators, and repeat offenders accountable.
Jon David, District Attorney - 15th Prosecutorial District
