- The role of District Attorney requires day one readiness. As a career prosecutor, Jenna's experience in the courtroom and leadership in the criminal justice system have prepared her to step into the role of District Attorney on day one – not to learn the job, but to continue doing it.
- At the end of the day, the best predictor of future success is past performance. Jenna has spent her career standing up for victims of crime. She believes in giving victims a voice in the process and is committed to advocating for them in a courtroom. Also, Jenna believes in a police-prosecutor team model. The best way to get from probable cause to beyond a reasonable doubt is by working with law enforcement to develop investigations. From crimes scene to closing argument, Jenna works with law enforcement to ensure that justice is done.
- A leader needs to lead from the front. Being in the trenches with law enforcement and with the team members in the DA's Office leads to stronger results in the courtroom.
