Jenna Netherton
Jenna Netherton is a former Republican member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 10 from 2015 to 2018. Netherton resigned on April 10, 2018, to take a position at the Americans for Prosperity Foundation.[1] Prior to January 2017, she went by Jenna Haggar.[2]
Netherton served in the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 10 from 2010 to 2015. Netherton did not seek re-election to the South Dakota House of Representatives in 2014.
Netherton ran as an Independent during the 2010 elections and served as an Independent during the 2011-2012 session. She switched her affiliation to Republican ahead of the 2012 election.
Biography
Netherton's professional experience includes working as a chiropractic assistant and as president of a marketing strategy business.[3]

2014
The general elections for the office of South Dakota State Senate took place on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Michael Schultz was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Jenna Haggar was unopposed in the Republican primary. Haggar defeated Schultz in the general election.[8][9][10]

Haggar won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 10. Haggar advanced past the Republican primary on June 5 and won re-election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[11]

2010
Haggar won election to the South Dakota House of Representatives in 2010. She defeated incumbent Martha Vanderlinde (D) for election to District 15. She was elected along with incumbent Patrick Kirschman (D).[12]
