I will also work to ensure each school has a fully funded mental health services coordinator position as indicated in the Blueprint, and support teacher and staff professional development around recognizing symptoms of mental health problems. I also will advocate for positive, safe school environments through restorative practices in classroom, which can teach positive behaviors and enhance decision-making skills in our students
