|- I will promote financial education throughout the state. Many residents and businesses are not financially literate. This education needs to begin in the K-12 school setting and I would advocate for financial education throughout the State.
- I will advocate for fiscal responsibility and enforce this throughout the State to enhance the State's financial integrity.
- I will do all I can to foster the economic well-being of all citizens and businesses in the State of Connecticut by supporting public values and fiscal prudence.
The State pensions were bargained for and agreed upon when the employees entered into their employment contracts. We need to honor that commitment and prepare to have this fund fully prepared for all payments. Additionally, I believe that there is an urgent need to teach our citizens how to be fiscally responsible so as not to live on credit and be in danger of filing bankruptcy. The best way to do this is to teach the children while they are still in school.
