Jennifer Berrier
Jennifer Berrier was the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor and Industry. Berrier assumed office on June 22, 2021. Berrier left office on January 17, 2023.
Gov. Tom Wolf (D) nominated Berrier to the role on November 12, 2020, to replace Gerard Oleksiak. She assumed office in an acting capacity on December 4, 2020.[1] The Pennsylvania State Senate confirmed the nomination on June 22, 2021.[2] Berrier left office on January 17, 2023.
Biography
Berrier worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry since 2006. She served the agency as an assistant counsel (2006-2013), executive assistant for Safety and Labor Management Relations (2013-2015), director of the Bureau of Occupational and Industrial Safety (2015-2018), and deputy secretary of Safety and Labor Management Relations (2018-2020).[3]
