Biography
Jennifer Collins was born in Meridian, Mississippi. Collins served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1999 and was a member of the U.S. National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves from 1999 to 2017. She reached the rank of colonel. Collins received a bachelor's degree from Alcorn State University in 1987, a master's degree in criminal justice administration in 1993 from the University of Central Texas, and a J.D. in 1999 from Mississippi College School of Law. Her career experience includes working as an attorney and as the Executive Director of ACLU Mississippi.[2][3][4]
