I am a lifelong Ohioan shaped by both hardship and opportunity, giving me a grounded understanding of the challenges families face across our state. My experiences have taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of advocating for those whose voices often go unheard.

I am the proud parent of a blended family of five and “Momo” to my grandson. My husband, Brian, is a combat veteran who served in the U.S. Army until an injury ended his military career. Together, we understand sacrifice, service, and the importance of community support. My political journey began when our 6th grade son found the courage to speak directly to the superintendent and Board of Education about issues affecting students in Columbus City Schools. Watching him advocate for himself and his peers made me realize that I, too, needed to speak up, not just at home, but publicly and with purpose. I lead with passion, kindness, and love. I try to live by three simple questions: Will it hurt me? Will it hurt others? Will it destroy property?

If the answer is no, then do the thing. These values guide my decisions and reflect a belief in personal responsibility, community care, and individual freedom.
  • Education Ohio families have a right to choose how to educate their children. Public school is a choice much like charter and non-public school. I want to go back to the fair school funding plan as that got us closer to the mark as required by Ohio’s constitution. I want to make sure ALL schools are fairly funded, but ensure there is accountability in how that money is spent. I would like to see the burden of transportation for charter and non-public schools removed from public school districts in Ohio. Competition can lead to accountability and a superior product, no matter how you choose to educate your children.
  • Taxes I want to end property taxes that place an unfair burden on residents when we give tax abatements to corporations who do not honor their promises. Ohioans deserve a say in how their hard earned money is spent. At the very least, I want to reduce the burden individual property owners must shoulder due to an imbalance in taxation, wasteful spending and fraud. I want to freeze future tax increases across the board for both individual property owners and businesses.
  • Criminal Justice I will work to reshape criminal justice laws that put non-violent criminals in jail while violent crimes go unsolved. drug offenses are not a criminal crises, but a mental health one. I want to put an end to qualified immunity, each incident resulting in a Police Officer’s use of force should be judged on a case by case basis without the protection of qualified immunity. Ohioans voted to legalize marijuana and now that freedom to use is being stripped away by backdoor policy changes and late night votes. Our voice matters!
I am passionate about education, balancing parental choice without decimating public education. I am passionate about eliminating tax burdens for individuals in Ohio, starting with reducing their tax burden as we build and shape funding for public services, education, etc. through private partnership. It won't happen overnight, but we should start somewhere. We also need to start reforming the criminal justice system, working to break the systemic issues that hurt Ohioans as a whole and revamping laws and policies that target violent criminals instead of "victimless" crimes. Through common sense policy we can work to lessen poverty in our state.
