Jennifer DeCasper was the campaign manager for Tim Scott's (R) 2024 presidential election campaign. DeCasper previously served as the chief of staff for Scott's senate office from 2015 to 2022. From 2014 to 2016, DeCasper worked as the treasurer for Tomorrow is Meaningful, a PAC affiliated with Scott.[1]

Career
DeCasper graduated from Mesa State College in 2001, and received a law degree from the University of Michigan in 2005. She began her career in government working as a administrative staff assistant to Sen. Wayne Allard (R-Colo.) from 2001 to 2002. In 2008, she worked as a deputy district attorney in Colorado's 18th Judicial District.[2]
In 2011, DeCasper began working for Tim Scott (R-S.C.) as a legislative assistant in his U.S. House office. She was later elevated to legislative director, and then to deputy chief of staff. DeCasper continued working as Scott's deputy chief of staff when he was appointed to the U.S. Senate until 2015, when she took on the role of chief of staff in his office. From 2014 to 2016, DeCasper also worked as the treasurer for Scott's affiliated PAC, Tomorrow is Meaningful.[2]
In 2023, Scott hired DeCasper to work as the campaign manager for his 2024 presidential campaign.[3]

Campaign strategy
In an July 2023 memo, DeCasper wrote, "Ignore the bluster. Don’t fall for the cheap tricks. There is one candidate who has shown steady, upward momentum from the moment he entered this race and who has the resources and strategy to execute in the months ahead. He is the strongest messenger in the field with the most consistent conservative record to match. His name is Tim Scott."[4]
