My name is Jen Goetzke, and I am running for the Laveen ESD 59 School Board as an Independent, non-partisan candidate. With my professional experience in public service and my current role as an incumbent Governing Board Member, I bring a wealth of knowledge and dedication to this position.
  • Safety Providing safe environments for teachers, staff, and students is paramount. This includes campus police, communication, and education for parents and staff.
  • Education I firmly believe that strong communities build strong youth. Our youth are the key to a successful future for not only Laveen but our entire country. By leveraging technology, building and maintaining a high quality curriculum, we can ensure our students have the necessary tools to achieve their dreams. With signature programs at each of the Laveen Elementary Schools, every child has a place in the community to express their interests and explore their talents. Recruiting and retaining top talent in our schools and support staff is critical to the mission of LESD.
  • Fiscal Responsibility Implementing sound financial management practices to maintain balanced budgets is essential. I am committed to creating bright futures for our students with the funding provided. I will work with the state to ensure that kindergarten is free for all students and meals are provided to all students.
1. Safe Schools

2. Strong Schools, Bright Futures

3. Dedicated to Laveen's Success
Gratitude to the community. I am a public servant at heart. I always want to be known as giving more than I receive and providing support to anyone in need.
I am an avid reader of all types of books, but the one that I retreat back to over and over is: Tony Dungy - Quiet Strength
Every person in the community! Students, Parents, Teachers, Administrators, Support Staff, Local Businesses, Neighbors

Even if you don't have children in our elementary schools, they are a vital part of our neighborhoods and have a lasting impact on our community. The success of our schools contributes to the overall wellbeing and growth of Laveen, shaping the future for our area.
