Jennifer L. Stanfield is a judge of the Minnesota 10th District Court. She assumed office on November 16, 2021. Her current term ends in 2025.

She was appointed to the court on October 18, 2021 by Governor Tim Walz to replace Barry A. Sullivan.[1]

Education
Stanfield received a bachelor's degree from Hamline University in 1998 and a J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 2001.[2]

Stanfield has been a member of the Minnesota County Attorney's Association, the Minnesota Department of Human Services Advisory Committee, the Minnesota District Judges Association, the Minnesota Family Support and Recovery Council (MFSRC), and the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is a co-founder of Carver County's Jobs Not Jail program and has volunteered with women’s legal aid programs in Ethiopia. Stanfield worked with the United Nations Human Rights Commission in Geneva, Switzerland. She received the Outstanding Leadership Award and the Award for Program Achievement from the MFSRC in 2014. Stanfield was named an Honorary Life Member of the MFSFC in 2018.[2][1]
