Leach provided the following statement on the Missouri Green Party website:
“ | Jennifer decided to run for office out of concern for the future of her children. She is passionate about ensuring all Missouri communities have access to quality education, as well as free pre-school & college education. Jennifer believes that health care is a right and all Missourians should have guaranteed access to affordable health care. She is for the legalization of marijuana and treating drug addiction as as a medical & mental health issue instead of a criminal justice issue. If elected, Jennifer will work for community control of law enforcement agencies to end the parade of police brutality incidents that black and brown communities especially suffer. As a union member, Jennifer knows first-hand the importance of preserving workers’ rights, protections, and their ability to organize. Jennifer stands for a government that truly represents all people regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status.[2][3] | ” |
