Jennifer McCoy
Jennifer McCoy is an at-large judge for the South Carolina Circuit Courts.[1] She was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 2018.[2] She was re-elected on February 3, 2021, to a term expiring in 2027.[3]
Education
McCoy received her bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and her J.D. from Charleston School of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, McCoy was a law clerk for Judge R. Markley Dennis, Jr., an associate attorney at Carlock, Copeland & Stair, LLP, an assistant solicitor for the Ninth Circuit Solicitor's Office, and a part-time magistrate judge in Charleston County.[2]
