Jennifer Ott
Jennifer Ott was the Nevada Director of Agriculture. She assumed office on March 4, 2019. She left office on January 2, 2023.
She was officially appointed by Gov. Steve Sisolak (D) on February 19, 2019, and took office on March 4, 2019.[1]
Biography
Prior to assuming the title of director of agriculture, Ott was the administrator of the Nevada Department of Agriculture’s Plant Industry Division. She also worked as operations director for the Desert Farming Initiative at the University of Nevada. Ott earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nevada and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Texas.[2]
