I reside in Roswell, GA with my husband of 19 years, my son (16), my daughter (14), and out two rescue greyhounds.

I am the COO of Consolidated Risk Solutions (CRS) where I have worked for nearly 22 years. During the course of my career, my partner and I have grown CRS from a few thousand dollars in revenue and 3 employees to over 30 employees and $10Mil. In addition to the revenue growth, I am proud of the reputation that CRS has built in the industry and of the culture that we have created here. Creating a place where people love to come to work, where their voices are heard and each person feels values has been a main priority for me as COO.

I have both my Master's in Business Administration and my Bachelor's in Actuarial Science.

I am currently serving as the treasurer of my church and I enjoy serving the community that I seek to represent by volunteering for various organizations.
  • Once elected, it will be my priority to ensure that our elections, which are constantly under attack, remain free, fair and open by voting to maintain a democratic majority on the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections and by protecting the budget of our elections office.
  • I will support the ACLU’s recommendations to reduce the jail population by ensuring that both our DA’s office and Sheriff’s office are adequately and sufficiently funded. Unlike the districts current representative, I will support measures such as double OT pay for our over worked and under paid Sheriffs as well as funding to provide for the general welfare of our inmates.
  • I will look for innovative approaches to instill green initiatives that impact the health and welfare of our entire county such as implementing measures to eliminate forever chemicals and plastics in our drinking water and by enhancing our communities allure installing community gardens and native, pollinator loving plants on county properties. Creating a healthier, more beautiful community comes with the side effect of increasing our property values and the overall desirability of our neighborhoods.

The County Commissioners provide localized representation and advocate for the specific needs and interest of their constituents. They are in the unique position of being the intermediary between the city and the state. Commissioners can have a direct impact on the daily lives of residences as they oversee many of the essential services such as public health and public safety.
Michelle Obama. For her intelligence, poise, dignity, grace. I strive to be as fair minded, eloquently vocal, and hardworking as she is.
Honesty, Integrity, Transparency, Empathy, Leadership, and a Commitment to Public Service.

I believe that people are tired of fighting and divisiveness. An elected official should be in the business of finding solutions that work for all constituents. This means being able to listen and collaborate with people from various perspectives. It means looking out for the greater good.

Elected officials should possess strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities and a deep understanding of the issues facing the community.
My father always challenged me to look at all sides of an issues and to view things from various perspectives. I believe this to be an important quality especially in my district where we are split nearly 50/50 on our party affiliation.
Of course, critical thinking, empathy, dedication and determination are all very valuable as well.
1. Budgeting and Finance - approving and overseeing the county budget. Allocating funds to programs and services. Being a responsible fiduciary for the county and it's residents.

2. Policy Making - setting policies that affect the county's operations, services and development.
3. Infrastructure and Public Works - overseeing maintenance and development of county infrastructure.
4. Public Services - providing for essential services such as those related to Public Safety, Public Health and Social Services

5. Representation - serving as the primary representative for their constituents and advocating for their interests at the county level.
The most impactful historic event was 9/11. I was 28 years old at the time and living in New York. I lived in Port Washington on Long Island, but my then boyfriend (now husband) worked in the city. Luckily we were all safe and ok, but it was a long, crazy, terrifying day.
My first job was a Chick-fil-A as a junior in high school. During my senior year, I got a job at a daycare where I was the afternoon teacher for 4 year old children. Upon graduation, I secured my first job at the local hospital where I worked in transportation which means that I picked patients up from their room in a wheelchair and took them to their various tests (x-ray, MRI, etc.) throughout the hospital.
So many. I already mentioned As a Man Thinketh. The God of Small Things. The Infinite Game (Simon Sinek). All the Light We Cannot See. Principles (Ray Dalio). Think Again (Adam Grant). Conscious Leadership. The Warmth of Other Suns. The Second Mountain (David Brooks). I could go on, but I think this gives a good flavor.
I can't stress how important it is for the citizens of Fulton County to understand that the Fulton County Board of Commissioners appoint the member of the The Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections. The Commission appoints two Republicans, two Democrats and a Chair. It is of the utmost importance to Democrats and to the safety of our election that the chair of this board remains a Democrat.
It is important that the holder of this office have experience in leadership and budgeting. As the treasurer of my church and the COO of CR Solutions, I have in depth experience of both.
Budgeting, leadership, problem solving (solutioning), negotiation and effective communication.
Why shouldn't you play poker in the jungle? Too many cheetahs. hahaha. I love the dumb jokes
Transparency in government is essential in building trust between the elected officials and the citizens. Information needs to be both easy to access and easy to understand. The citizens should have access to information that allows them to understand how their tax dollars are being spent.

Government is accountability is important to ensure that elected officials are held responsible for their actions and decisions. This includes not only financial accountability but also accountability for policy choices, ethical conduct, and adherence to laws and regulations.
