Two of the five seats on the St. Lucie County School Board Board of Education were up for primary election on August 30, 2016. In her bid for re-election, District 2 incumbent Carol Hilson faced challenger Kacey Cooper-Armstrong. In District 4, incumbent Kathryn Hensley ran against challenger Jennifer Richardson. Both incumbents won re-election to their seats.[1][2]
