Smith (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Division IV judge of the Tennessee 20th Judicial District Criminal Court. Smith won in the general election on August 4, 2022.
Smith was appointed to the court by Governor Bill Haslam on November 14, 2018. She succeeded Seth W. Norman, who retired in August 2018.[1]
