Jennifer Trevino was a candidate for District 2 representative on the Fort Worth City Council in Texas. She was defeated in the general election on May 6, 2017.

Trevino earned a B.B.A. in marketing and management from Texas Tech University and an M.B.A. in marketing from Texas Christian University.[1]

Trevino was the chief of staff and vice president of administration at the University of North Texas Health Science Center until March 2017, when she resigned to focus on her campaign and other career opportunities. Her professional experience also includes work as an administrative director and director of faculty affairs for the University of North Texas Health Science Center and as a product marketing manager for RadioShack. Trevino has served as the chair of the Fort Worth chapter of the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas and a member of the Fort Worth City Plan Commission, the City of Fort Worth Stockyards Tax Increment Financing Board, the Fort Worth Arts Funding Task Force, the Fort Worth Library Advisory Board, and the Texas Christian University M.B.A. Advisory Board.[1][2][3]
