Jennifer Wells (Alaska)
Jennifer Wells was a judge of the Alaska Third District Superior Court. She assumed office on July 27, 2017. Wells ran for re-election for judge of the Alaska Third District Superior Court. She won in the retention election on November 3, 2020. She was appointed by Gov. Bill Walker (I) on February 9, 2017, and sworn in on July 27, 2017. She retired from the court on February 28, 2023.[1]
Biography
Wells earned her J.D. from Suffolk University.[1]
Wells' professional experience includes work as a magistrate judge, acting district court judge, training judge, and public defender. She also served as a clerk for then-Anchorage Superior Court Judge Dana Fabe.[1]
