All throughout my life, I witnessed my family work tirelessly serving our community and giving all that they had to make someone else’s life better. Their example fueled my passion to serve and to make systemic change in an impactful way. I am running to work for and alongside my community to get the results District 10 needs. I am an advocate and champion for public health who will lead with equity, address root causes and prioritize our community’s voices to be at the decision-making table.
  • Our health is largely driven by factors like income, education, where we live, access to food, transportation, and access to affordable and high-quality health care. While many have access to healthcare, it is not accessible to all.
  • Our children deserve a high-quality education that creates a safe, healthy, and supportive environment where they can thrive.
  • We are at a pivotal point to protect our environment. While Maryland has taken steps to reduce these emissions by 25 percent from a 2006 baseline by 2020, the latest science says that we need to do more.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Maryland

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
