Collapse all
|- Public Safety: The democrats and Monica Stonier passed a series of laws in 2021 that SEVERELY impacted the state's safety and our law enforcements ability to enforce laws. HB1054 (2021) imposed severe restrictions on police pursuits. Auto theft is up 99% from March of 2021 to March of 2022. HB1088 (2021) Hampers police enforcement and recruitment. Our per capita officers is the lowest in the nation. HB1310 modifies criminal liability protections and use of force by peace officers. These laws have directly led to growing crime in our state. The criminals can get away with almost anything and our officers can't protect their communities. It is time to fire Monica and hire a representative that puts your family first.
- Affordability: Our state budget has nearly doubled in the last 10 years. With an over 64 billion dollar budget the state democrats and Monica Stonier are determined to make big government work. With a 15 billion dollar surplus in 2022 they could not bring relief to their constituents. With inflation hitting Washingtonians at a rate not seen since the 80's it is past time to retire politicians that put their ideas over the well being of their citizens. I will prioritize smaller government and less regulations to bring good paying jobs back to Washington. Finally raise our standard of living not reduce it.
- Accountability:We no longer hold much of our society accountable for their actions. Politicians are not held accountable for their poorly written laws and policies. Bureaucracies’, like our education system, are poorly managed and not accountable for their poor performance. Criminals are not held accountable for the damage they inflict on society. When elected, I will work to restore accountability. We will deter crime with effective, measured, and consistent punishments. I will demand that our failing schools provide quality education, and we will provide parents options for their children when they don’t. We need to cut wasteful governmental spending. I will audit our bureaucracies and bring my private sector experience to Olympia.
Affordability: Monica Stonier consistently passes laws to restrict fossil fuels and emissions. In 2019 she eliminated coal from our state and restricted retail use of natural gas, and then passed goals of 75% of new cars to be electric by 2030. How can we reduce base load energy and then push for more electricity use? 2021 also saw the democrat's Climate Commitment Act passed, a recent analysis expects a $0.46 per gallon of gasoline and $0.56 per gallon of diesel. These policies will add to the generational high-inflation in our state, severely impacting the poorest among us. I support pragmatic solutions to bring business investment and good paying jobs to Washington State.
