I am currently serving as Municipal Court Judge, City of Henderson, Department 2. I was unanimously appointed to that position in 2021. In addition to my regular criminal caseload, I preside over the ABC Drug Court. The ABC Drug Court decreases crime by reducing recidivism among habitual misdemeanor offenders and helps them achieve long term recovery and self-sufficiency. Before my appointment, I served as a staff member of the ABC Drug Court for five years.

I began my legal career in 2008, in private practice working for a large Nevada firm, primarily in business litigation. Prior to taking the bench, I was a criminal prosecutor for eleven years with the Henderson City Attorney’s Office. During that time, I was selected as an instructor for DUI prosecution and Constitutional Law at the Henderson Police Department and Southern Desert Regional Police Academies. In 2017, I was promoted and took on a supervisory role in the office. As a prosecutor for the City of Henderson, I handled thousands of criminal cases and conducted over 200 trials.

I am a member of the Clark County Bar Association, Nevada Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. I also belong to the Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction, and the American Judges Association. I am licensed to practice law in Nevada as well as U.S. District Court.
I possess the temperament, skill, and acumen required of a judge. I have demonstrated diligence, perseverance, and tenacity in becoming the first college graduate in my family by putting myself through college and law school. I bring that same dedication and diligence to the bench. As a criminal prosecutor, my pledge and mission were to seek justice for our community. As a judge, my commitment to fairness, the rule of law, and public safety is unquestioned.
