Prioritizing Public Safety He is also committed to improving the city’s fire protection by restoring staffing levels to what they were before the Great Recession. This will allow for additional two-company stations across Fresno and faster response times for emergencies. We need to separate the notions of “vagrancy” and “homelessness,” so the truly needy are provided the services and compassion they need to get back on their feet. Criminal vagrants, on the other hand, need to be held responsible for their actions. Jeremy will push the City Council to work with County jail authorities to make sure dangerous criminals are kept behind bars where they belong. Committed to protecting taxpayers Instead, we must invest our tax dollars and City resources to create a more business-friendly Fresno that delivers more jobs for our unemployed neighbors, grows a stronger local economy, and keeps our streets safer. As your councilman, Jeremy will uphold, strengthen, and extend Lee Brand’s legislation to make the City more efficient and effective. Jeremy’s commitment to government efficiency earned him the endorsement of Lee Brand and some of his colleagues.[2][3] |
