Hi, I’m Jeri. I’ve spent my career solving tough problems and delivering results in business and nonprofit work. As a sales and marketing leader at companies like Dell Technologies and Microsoft, I learned how to use data, technology, and practical solutions to make better decisions. Now retired, I’m running to ensure every SBISD student has a fair chance to succeed, every dollar is spent wisely, and our school board is open and accountable to the community it serves. I’d be honored to earn your vote.
  • Teach with excellence — Use evidence-based learning that sparks curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving, free from ideological agendas.
  • Support every student — Allocate resources fairly and transparently, support students facing immigration stress, and ensure every child can learn in a safe and welcoming environment free from discrimination.
  • Lead with integrity — Uphold the separation of church and state, protect taxpayer dollars, and build schools that model respect, kindness, and belonging for people of every background and belief.
I’m passionate about ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed in a strong public school system. That starts with excellent teaching grounded in evidence-based learning that builds curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving—and helps meet the needs of every student.

I also care deeply about fairness in education. Every child should be able to learn in a safe, welcoming environment where resources are allocated transparently and responsibly.

Finally, I believe public schools depend on trust. That means leadership must respect the separation of church and state and use taxpayer dollars wisely.
