Jerimy Littlepage is a 26-year-old HVAC technician, Army Reservist, and proud graduate of A.H. Parker High School (Class of 2018). Now running as a mayoral candidate for Birmingham, Alabama, Jerimy is a dedicated voice for the city’s blue-collar and working-class residents. With firsthand experience of the challenges faced by everyday citizens, he is committed to creating meaningful job opportunities and making Birmingham a safer, more thriving community. Jerimy cares deeply about the people of Birmingham and is determined to lead with integrity, action, and a vision for a stronger future.
  • Every child in Birmingham deserves access to a high quality education regardless of their zip code or family income. As mayor, I will fight to improve our public schools by supporting our teachers, investing in safe and modern learning environments, and expanding vocational and technical training programs that prepare students for real careers. Education is the foundation of opportunity, and I’m committed to making sure our youth have every chance to succeed right here in Birmingham.
  • Birmingham’s working people deserve more than survival. They deserve opportunity. As mayor, I will prioritize bringing good paying, skilled jobs to our city by partnering with local businesses, investing in job training programs, and supporting small business growth. We need to rebuild Birmingham’s economy from the ground up, starting with the people who keep it running every day. My mission is to make sure no one is left behind. Every resident should have a clear path to work, dignity, and a better future.
  • Every resident of Birmingham deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood. Whether they’re walking to work, sending their kids to school, or simply sitting on their front porch. As mayor, I will work to reduce crime by investing in community policing, youth programs, and mental health support. Real safety in Birmingham is investing in our young people leading to steering them away from violence. A safer Birmingham starts with leadership that listens, acts, and cares and that’s exactly what I’ll bring.
I'm personally passionate about public policies that directly impact working class families. Especially in the areas of job creation, public safety, and education. As someone who comes from a blue collar background and works as an HVAC technician, I know firsthand the struggles many Birmingham residents face just trying to make ends meet. I'm committed to policies that create real job opportunities, support small businesses, and invest in vocational training so people can build stable careers. I'm also deeply concerned about the safety of our neighborhoods. Public safety isn’t just about policing. It’s about prevention, community engagement, and giving young people positive paths forward. We will continue to become more educated.
I look up to God. I would like to follow Jesus Christ because he was the exact type of person I would want to be.
The most important characteristics for an elected official are integrity, accountability, and compassion. As someone running to represent the everyday, working-class people of Birmingham, I believe leaders must be honest and transparent about what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. People are tired of empty promises. They want results and leaders who will stand by their word. Accountability means showing up, listening to the people, and taking responsibility when things go wrong. And above all, compassion is key. If you don’t genuinely care about the people you serve. Their struggles, their dreams, their safety you have no business being in office. I’m running because I care deeply about this city and the people in it. I want to lead with heart, with action, and with a commitment to building a better future for all of us.
I am a natural born leader. I have integrity, morals, principles and I am trustworthy person.
I would want to become the best and the youngest mayor of my city. At the age of 26 I want to turn Birmingham and give us identity again.
Barack Obama becoming the first black president of the United States. I was 9 years old.
Arby’s and I had the job for 4 years.
The Bible. The reason why is because it has many stories of life that you can gain from reading them. If you apply the knowledge right it could be a guide to a easier life.
Believing everyone can be a good person has been a struggle in my life. Not all people strive to become a good person.
If he or she is a leader of their city they must be that. Not following instructions from special interest groups or any other organization who doesn’t have the best interest of the people.
I love the people here. The people in this city are very unique. It’s a lot of talent in Birmingham, Alabama.
The greatest challenges will be unifying the city, educated people of all ages and decreasing gun violence.
I would love believe that they should be able to work together for the benefit of the residents of the city and state.
Katt Williams joke about politicians.
I believe they work hand and hand especially when the mayor is able to make appointments.
My view is I believe we need to restore the transparency and government accountability.
