|- I feel that my professional experience has provided me with the skills necessary to address the issues and concerns for the state of South Carolina.
- I love this community. It is filled with amazing people and it would be my deep honor to represent their voices in Columbia.
- Pickens County has been my home for the past 19 years and it would be my humble honor to serve this community as its next State Representative
Roads and Bridges: "In 2017, the South Carolina Legislature approved a gas tax increase of two cents per year for six years to address the issue of long-term deficient roads. It will take time to address years of inactivity and neglect, but it is important that the additional tax revenue be prioritized to ensure that those road and bridges with the greatest needs will be addressed as quickly as possible to provide for the driving public's safety and welfare. I will work to help identify those projects and advocate for needed repairs in Pickens County."

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
