Jerry D. Crosby is a district court judge for the 12th District Court, which presides over Oldham, Henry, and Trimble counties in Kentucky.[1] He was appointed by Governor Paul Patton in September 2000 and has been the chief district judge since 2002.[2] Crosby was re-elected to the court without opposition in 2010 and 2014, and his four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[3][4][5][6]

2010

Crosby was elected to the 12th District Court. He defeated challenger John Shaughnessy with 61.45% of the vote on November 2, 2010.[7][3]

In a statement to the Courier-Journal, Judge Crosby stated: "It is my legal experience, judicial temperament and community involvement which make me the best candidate for District Court Judge...My opponent is simply too inexperienced and underqualified to adequately serve the citizens of Oldham, Henry, and Trimble Counties as district court judge."[8]
