Jerry J. Montgomery was a judge on the Montrose County Court in Colorado. Montogomery was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter to replace John J. Mitchel, effective January 11, 2011.[1] He retired from the court on June 29, 2012.[2]

Education

Montgomery received his undergraduate degree from Evangel University in 1991 and his J.D. from Washington University in 1994.[3]

Career

Prior to joining the bench, Montgomery was a prosecutor in Montrose since 2007. He lived in Missouri before that, where he worked as a public defender and a tax attorney.[3]
