Jesse Corcoran Adkins
Jesse Corcoran Adkins (1879-1955) was an associate justice on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
He was nominated by President Herbert Hoover on June 6, 1930 to replace Alfred Adams Wheat. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 17th, and received commission that same day. On October 15, 1946, he assumed senior status and he continued to serve in this capacity until his death on March 29, 1955.[1]
