Jesse Wright was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 2 of the Kentucky House of Representatives.[1]

Wright was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 2 of the Kentucky House of Representatives. He was defeated in the general election.[2]

Biography

A native Kentuckian, Wright grew up in Mayfield, Kentucky and graduated from Mayfield High School in 1997.[3]

Wright then earned his a degree in engineering from the University of Kentucky. Following graduation, he worked as a project engineer before attending law school. He earned his J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law.[3]

After practicing law in Georgia, Wright returned to Mayfield where he opened his own law practice. He later went on to become the managing owner of Kemp & Wright, PLLC, a position he continues to hold.[3]
