Cha was a candidate for the Ward 1 seat on the City Council of Santa Ana in California. She was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Biography
Cha earned her B.A. from the University of California, San Diego. She later received her J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law. Cha is a private practice attorney specializing in family law.[1]

The city of Santa Ana, California, held elections for mayor and city council on November 8, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was August 12, 2016. Three of the six city council seats were up for election.[2]
