Family Court desperately needs a Judge that has been through it. I am a single mom of two amazing boys. While I am a successful attorney, I am a survivor of an abusive marriage and have spent the 8 years as a litigant and victim in post divorce litigation in family and criminal courts. I have seen the problems first hand. I have been in your shoes.

As your Family Court Judge, I will enforce my orders. I will say “no” to frivolous hearings to avoid unnecessary expense to the parties. I will issue timely orders. I will apply graduated sanctions including jail time where appropriate to ensure that one party is not abusing and mocking the system. There can be no law and order in a system that allows for such abuses of the system.

Professionally, I have the most diverse legal experience in this race having operated a solo family law practice, worked in legal at finance institutions, represented employees in workers compensation actions while at Cotton Wolfinbarger, and currently a Deputy Team Lead in the general criminal division at the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office where I have been for going on 7 years.

Furthermore, a judge is first and foremost a public servant. My background clearly demonstrates a strong commitment to my community through pro bono work, volunteerism, and government employment. Please visit jessicastoneforjudge.com for more information. Vote STONE… It’s a Rock Solid Choice!
  • I have been in your shoes.
  • I will restore order to our family court system.
  • Parenting is a lifestyle.
Helping victims of domestic violence get the protection and help they need to get back on their feet. Preventing abuses of the court system. Preventing excessive cost to the low income as well as to the rule followers.

Louisville is in a public safety crisis. As a Louisville native who has lived has lived in bigger cities with less crime, I know we can do better. I currently serve as a prosecutor in Jefferson County and was motivated to submit my candidacy for Judge because I love our city and truly care about the people. I want to make Louisville a safer city and rebuild confidence in our justice system.

I am the best candidate because I have the most well-rounded legal experience in my race as well as a career demonstrating my commitment to public service. Further, my experience as a litigant and a victim in the court system brought light to many weaknesses and barriers to justice. I want to work to correct these issues so that timely and equal justice may be administered to all.

My unique perspective coupled with my diverse professional experience is what our city needs and deserves. Thus, I am asking for your support and your vote on November 8th.
  • Prioritizes Public Safety: If you want a judge who is going to hold people accountable and keep dangerous criminals off our streets, vote STONE for a safer city!
  • Committed to Equal Justice for All - restoring faith and confidence in our justice system can only be done with fairness and open mind
  • Public Servant - I am doing this to further serve my hometown community and save our city.
Public Safety. Addressing homelessness. Mental Health advocacy.
