Jessica Upshaw
Jessica Upshaw (August 31, 1959 - March 24, 2013) was a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 95 from 2004 to 2013. She was found dead on March 24, 2013 at the home of former state Rep. Clint Rotenberry, though he was not charged in her death.[1]
Upshaw was Owner/Lawyer with Jessica Sibley Upshaw & Associates. She was previously a Partner/Lawyer with Hopkins, Crawley, Bagwell & Upshaw from 1988-2000. She earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and BBA from the University of Mississippi.
Upshaw was a member of the American Bar Association, American Legislative Exchange Council, Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution, Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Gulfport Yacht Club, Harrison County Bar Association, and the Mississippi Bar Association.[2]

2011
On November 8, 2011, Upshaw won re-election to District 95 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged in the November 8 general election.[3][4]
2007
On November 6, 2007, Upshaw was re-elected in District 95, running unopposed.[5] She defeated Linda Johnson in the primary election by a margin of 1,900 to 1,164.[6]
