I am a parent, attorney, and longtime volunteer and public education advocate running for the Paradise Valley Unified School Board. As a parent of two PVUSD students, I bring over a decade of experience in collaborating and volunteering in our schools and community. My legal background and K-12 public education instilled in me a deep appreciation for public education as the backbone to civic engagement, our Constitution, and democracy. I believe that supporting and preserving our public schools is one of the most significant acts of patriotism. I am committed to leading with integrity, intelligence, and heart, and to consider all values, perspectives, and ideas. I am committed to be a governing board member for all families and students.
  • I am running for this position because I believe that every child deserves a great neighborhood school.
  • I care deeply about our PV community, and I am committed to ensuring our students graduate PVSchools with an excellent education ready for a successful future
  • I believe our students and our community deserve leadership who will keep partisan politics out of our schools and always put students first.
Throughout the years, I've consistently heard from families regarding their concerns about declining enrollment, large class sizes, school safety, the need for increased transparency in how taxpayer dollars are managed, ensuring that their children get a great education, and the importance of attracting and keeping great teachers. I am committed to tackling these very real issues and to bring commonsense collaborative problem solving to this important work.
I am dedicated to leading with integrity, thoughtfulness, and compassion while considering diverse values and viewpoints. Our students and community need stable leadership that focuses on finding solutions to pressing issues.
Those who sit on the governing board have a vital responsibility to their communities, students, and families, and to the principles of democracy itself. I would like to leave a legacy of unifying leadership that is collaborative, results-oriented, nonpartisan, accountable, and always put students first.
