Jesus Espinoza
Jesus Espinoza was a candidate for the District 1 seat on the Hays school board in Texas. He was defeated by fellow newcomer Teresa M. Tobias in the general election on May 10, 2014.
Biography
Espinoza is a life-long Texas resident, having lived in the Hays CISD area for 14 years. He served for eight years in the Texas Army National Guard. At the time of his candidacy, Espinoza was a sergeant at the Kyle Police Department. He started the Kyle Police Association in 2007 and served as its president until 2012. He has two children who were enrolled in the district at the time of his candidacy.[1]
