  • A strong education system is the bedrock of a thriving community. It’s not just about what happens in the classroom; it’s about a partnership between schools, families, and local businesses. I will focus on creating a safe, encouraging, and world-class educational environment for every child and that teachers are compensated competitively.
  • I believe healthcare is a human right, and that providing accessible care to all is not only the right thing to do, it’s the fiscally responsible thing to do. By focusing on prevention and removing barriers to care, we can lower long-term costs for everyone and build a healthier, more productive state.
  • A good job is the foundation of a strong family and a stable community. I believe every North Carolinian who is able and willing to work is entitled to safe, dignified local employment. I will focus on creating opportunities in every corner of our district, especially our rural communities.
